I am waiting for the delivery of a new Kubota B2910 with a LA402 loader. I would like to have some clamp-on forks made at our local machine shop. Can anyone tell me the wall thickness of the bottom part of the bucket? I'm having the forks made so they slide over and under the bucket. I need to know how much space to provide.
Thanks for your help.

Will they build them for under $275? You can have factory ones for that amount depending on style you prefer with more capacity than the loader. Other wise figure at least 3/4 of an inch. ....

No specific help from me I'm afraid. Maybe somebody here who's going to a NH dealer will take along calipers and do a quick measurement if there's a loader on the lot. Maybe the dealer could do that if another loader is there.

It might be good to check with the machine shop to see if the specific dimension that needed is the maximum cross-section along the length of the fork clamps. The blade edge is likely reinforced and thicker than the bucket body. If the blade edge and bucket body is at an angle, a wider slot may be needed to slip the forks on than just the thickest measurement taken at any point. Possible, but I don't want to make the idea more complicated then it is.

The Gearmore forks work very nicely on Kubota buckets. As Art mentioned, they retail under $300. ....
